Dock of the Bay (Crystal Galleon Hall) on Lake Muskoka Opens!

Yay! Doors are open and the sign is OUT! Dock of the Bay is now OPEN!

It seems like forever ago I posted the announcement of a new waterfront Muskoka venue but great news last night! Dock of the Bay (ON or OFF? First sign said ‘ON’) on Lake Muskoka (the old Regatta) had their soft opening! Not sure how many nights before the ‘Grand Opening’ but tonight guests were seen wandering into take advantage of specials like trout for $19.95. The structure looks the same, but I think they got rid of a lot of the ‘Regatta’ decals in the window. Likely the same place, under new direction and offering a dining room that is a little more upscale than their neighbour, Boston Pizza who has benefited likely as a result of the Regatta closure. I’m sending one of my Muskoka wedding couples in for dinner next week – big foodies – and I’m excited to see photos and hear about what they think of the place! Of course I’m also looking forward to having a nice place to entertain clients and colleagues so I will be making the trip in soon too! Let us know if you go! Comment below!
